Painted as a portrait of a friend's grandpa - a gift for his mother, I thought enough people would relate to this image and enjoy it in their homes. Reminded me of Bob Farrell - the creator of Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor Restaurants - where I worked all through my college years in the early 1970s.
